IT IS VERY GOOD

The app window is deceiving in Vista, but using file-explorer to inspect the results, indicated the program worked fine.At first it seemed not to work because Vista Premium said it was not responding in the window’s title bar.I had a 11G file that I wanted on DVD+R plastic. The application does not support the type of files I was wanted to split, specifically video MPEG files.

I used Universal File Splitter & Merger aftrer I bought it and it worked OK. I think I downloaded it from Querks. Now I see that SoftSaga has the download link, so I tried to download it. I couldn\'t do it beause there were so many other promotion programs. I still would like to use it. Please tell me a direct way that I can download it.

File Splitter The application did not perform as promised. It took a 10 GB AVI video file and produced a 1.5 GB file and two 1.0 GB files, none of which were playable on my computer. I have deleted the application from my computer and successfully used a program called AVI Splitter.

Good but slow It does the job bet I want to split dvd-iso files of 4,4GB in half because than it fits on my FAT32 External-Hard disk. But I it takes to long and I only need 2 pieces. So It's good use but not what I want.

did not work I had a 4.5 gigabyte file I was trying to split. Every time I ran FFS it created only 1 chunk and then stopped. Looked to me like it "forgot" to start over with a new filename so it just created and re-created that first chunk until it finished the file, but it was over-writing the file so in the end I only had the last chunk.(Why use it? I created an image of my hard drive using Acronis TrueImage which was 4.5 gb in size. Then I needed to transport it with a fat32 external drive. Fat32 has a 4gb limit ...

Worked Well The program allowed me to send a very large 50MB file that was urgent, easily. Thankyou

Opinion I tried a number of file splitters, and none of them were easy to use. I uninstalled Filesplitter 1.3 shortly after installation when it failed to properly split a 137Mb text file.

In fact, I tried to split a 44-megabyte csv file on a laptop with 1G RAM and it did not fit in the memory, so ... really don't know.

not very well engineered It would be good if it didn't try to read in the whole file before splitting it. For bigger files it's useless.

Errormessage I was looking for software to manage very large textfiles > 5GB. Unfortunately the File Splitter did not work on my files.I got an error message saying: "Out of memory - It is STRONGLY recommended that you forward this error message to InterPlan Systems for evaluation." Hi, I find that it does what it says it does quickly and efficiently. The interface is straight forward and intuitive. It has certainly allowed me to do the necessary Slicing in double quick time. Overall it does what it says it does with minimum fuss. Well done!summersa

Great product, i was looking for such a software for hours. Only one thing: a graphical view of the waveform would be very useful the determine the exact volume and time for slicing.

The trial version is so bad, even can not split more than 1 min sound.

It didn\'t work so I uninstalled it. I am running Windows 7 ultimate 64x.

i was looking for a tool that would split a *.m4b file (ipod audiobook), your tool seamed to create the split files just fine, but none of the files would then play. so I guess your program cannot split this kind of file.

I really like the program, and it is very fast. The only problem I had that keeps me from purchasing it, is when I split a large .mp4 file into several parts, only the first two files were viable. Any tips on what to do to have all files remain usable? I really do think it's an awesome program and the price is excellent.Tammy Kirkland

ease of use Hi FolksIs there a way to get it to work with the mouse right click tool bar? In other words can you select a file in Windows Explorer or My Computer with left mouse click and see Split it as an option with right mouse click? Important feature to be added In this Split It, there are so many features but, the main thing is to split a video file according to particular start and end time which is missing. It is splitting into equal parts which can be an option but for most usage the time frame splitting is more useful. And, regarding command line options also one of the most needed one which is not there. Please consider these issues.
